Saumik Paul is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Nottingham, Malaysia campus (UNMC). Previously, he taught at the Osaka University, Japan and worked at the World Bank. Saumik is interested in cross-disciplinary research to study political economy of development, poverty, social protection and issues in labor market. He is an Internal Research Fellow at the Centre for Research in Economic Development and International Trade (CREDIT), a Senior Research Affiliate at the Households in Conflict Network (HiCN) and holds a Research Director position at the Future Village, an NGO dedicated to empowering the poor for sustainable livelihood.

Dr. Ashraf Singer is an Associate Professor of International Politics in Port -Said University Egypt, and a Member of the Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs. He is also a Research Fellow at Trans -Research Consortium. He taught at Claremont Graduate University, American University in Cairo, Egypt, Woodbury University, Burbank, California, and University of California in Irvine. King Fahd University for Petroleum and Minerals, Saudi Arabia. He received his Ph.D. in Political Science from Claremont Graduate University in 2008.

Previously Dr. Singer was as a Research Fellow of World Politics in Claremont Graduate University and a Fulbright Scholar in Residence at Miles College. Dr. Singer is a political analyst and commentator at Voice of America, various Egyptian Channels, Newspapers, and Egypt’s Public Radio Network.

Dr. Ana Ortiz Salazar is a Research Scientist with Seattle Police Department’s Performance Analytics and Research group. She has a PhD in International Politics and Political Science, with concentrations in Computational Analytics and World Politics, from Claremont Graduate University (CGU). Her research interests include bias crime, environmental policy and inequality, global health, and political capacity. She earned her master’s degree in Applied Data Science and International Studies from CGU and her bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Studies from the University of North Florida.

Joseph Immormino is a doctoral student in the fields of politics and computational analytics at Claremont Graduate University, where he deploys advanced analytical methods and formal modeling techniques to gain insight into the challenges facing modern political, economic, social, and business environments. His research interests are strategy based and focused on creating actionable solutions to real world problems. His prior experience includes several years negotiating disaster recovery settlements on behalf of public figures and high-net-worth individuals. He completed his undergraduate degree in political science at Chapman University and MA degree at Claremont Graduate University. He also served in the United States Air Force and is a decorated veteran of both Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
